First Pressing — Angel Records
This is an original Angel pressing (6/3AECX 5270), manufactured by The Gramophone Company of India in the 1960s. Angel pressings were the very first editions released — pressed on heavier vinyl with superior audio quality. They are distinguished by the iconic Angel logo on the label and are the most sought-after versions among Indian vinyl collectors.
Later reissues of this recording appeared on Odeon and HMV/EMI labels, but the Angel pressing remains the definitive original edition.
About This Record
An original first pressing on Angel / EMI (The Gramophone Company of India) (c.1960s) — increasingly sought after by collectors.
Enoch Daniels — India's premier accordion and keyboard player who arranged music for countless Bollywood films. 'Vintage Wine' is his orchestral interpretation of classic Hindi film tunes — a bridge between Western orchestration and Indian melody.
