About This Record
Xavier Cugat was the man who made America fall in love with Latin music, and this 1955 Philips first pressing captures the cha cha cha craze right at its peak. With his showmanship and that signature chihuahua under his arm, Cugat turned dance halls into carnivals — this record is a time capsule of that infectious energy.
